The Wedding Dress Search is Over!

Today I went to a Brides Against Breast Cancer Show in Raleigh, NC and was successful in finding a beautiful wedding dress. My mom and I arrived early and were able to enjoy a scrumptious brunch (Mimosas included) before the doors opened into the showroom. We hit the racks and searched through hundreds and hundreds of dresses. After a few hours of trying on dresses and debating between a few gowns I walked away with a gorgeous Amsale Wedding dress. 

Not only was it wonderful to find a wedding dress, but to know that all the funds from the purchase were  going to men and women who have stage IV Breast Cancer. I was so happy for my wedding to support such a wonderful cause! 

In order to celebrate our successful trip we went to the best BBQ restaurant in Raleigh! The Pit! Yummy! We got awesome onion rings and had pulled pork with baked beans and fried okra. So good. And then to top off a perfect evening of food we had banana pudding. my mouth is watering just thinking about all the yummy food I ate.

I am already craving it... oh, the Pit... how I love thee... how I wish that I could eat you everyday...

Ryan + Natalie= Love Sweet Love

Ok, ok. So I have totally slacked on posting on the blog. So... here is the moment I KNOW you have all been waiting for... our Engagement Pictures. I posted a glimpse at what our pictures looked like with the "behind the scenes" look that my parent's neighbor provided (thanks Helen!). But here were the ones we recently got back from the photographer.  Enjoy!

Engagement Photo Session

Hey Everyone! It has been a long time since I have had time to post on the blog. So, let me catch you up. If you remember, way back in June Ryan and I had our engagement pictures taken. We had the pictures taken at my family's home in SC. In addition, we had some pictures taken at my neighbor's home as she has a beautiful lake view. I wanted to share with you a few pictures that my neighbor took of our engagement session. (I will post some of the real photos in a few days!)

It was so funny trying to get Ryan to make his hand into a heart!
